Wonderful scale. This has a small rigid plastic cover (111 x 111 x 6 mm. deep) resting over the stainless steel platform which you lift off and can use to hold small loose items for weighing. It ALSO has a rigid clear plastic cover (116 x 127 x 20mm. deep) which fits over then entire scale and this too is handy for holding even larger items you may wish to weigh. Easy to zero the empty weight with the "tare" button at far left. You can also easily alternate between various modes (ounces, grams, grains, etc.) by pressing the "M" button to the left of the lighted display. Keep this scale handy on your desktop or in a desk drawer and there in no need for you to ever wonder about the true accurate weight of a small parcel you plan to ship. Complete Trash!
Can’t turn it off so batteries dying left and right and right Even right when I got it half the time it wouldn’t stay at .00 or any number then after a couple weeks it went haywire and the number won’t stop jumping from the second it’s on weighing mode. Not happy!

Good quality product
Good quality product. It's very accurate (for example, I use mine to determine whether 1982 pennies are copper or zinc (coppers are 3g, zincs 2.5g)). Extremely fast free shipping (2 days) and packaging was decent. Only downside is that a 500g calibration weight is needed to correctly calibrate the weight (although it's only needed once), but those are pretty easy to find if you go asking around.
