Not as sensitive as anticipated but it does work. Seems transmitter signal is blocked by unknown shields. It works, the price was right but you won't find any buried treasure with it, just solid unbroken minimally corroded pipes & wires.

Very quickly shipped and delivered, item has very good exterior quality and good fit and finish, came with a case and a battery. Would be great for the price, but Does Not Work for underground wires, which the listing says it can find. I even tried a test wire and it couldn't find it one inch down. Can't readily use better earphones since it has a 2.5mm jack. With a better antenna and a 3.5mm jack, could be a much better item.
