A Simple Wire Tester When You Need It
I needed a simple circuit tester, and this was just perfect! It doesn't test voltage, simply whether a wire or circuit will conduct. To do this it has 2 AA batteries in its metal housing and a removable probe wire with an alligator clip. Clip it to one end of your wire or circuit and touch the metal housing to the other end. If it lights, the circuit is good! Also functions as a pen light. The price was great and the shipping was fast. I needed a simple circuit tester, and this was just perfect! Cheap Continuity Tester
Odd that it is PLASTIC plated with chrome and the tapered tip that is the probe. (no sharp point to pierce insulation on the wires) It works and will be useful for testing things, but it would be much better if it was metal and had a sharp point.
