BACK OF BOOK SAYS: but this time the gossip columnists have it wrong. anthony brigerton hasn't just decided to marry he's even chosen a wife. the only obstacle is his intended's older sister, kate sheffield the most meddlesome woman ever to grace a london ballroom. the spirited schemer is driving anthony mad with ther determination to stop the betrothal but when he closes his eyes at night kate's the woman haunting his incereasly erotic dreams. i always say the secret to knowing if a book is good or not is if you remember it days, weeks or years after you have read it. i found a book mark in this book marked 2006, and i still remembered it. i love the fact that the two are attracted to each other and literaly drive each other nuts trying to denie their attraction to themselves. i love the fact that they have constant contact throughout the story and i love that we get to read both characters point of views, and that the wedding takes place late in the book but not at the end, so we get to see them as a married couple and we get to answer a few additional questions. i anxiously await the 2nd epilogue, since i don't have e books, access, i will have to wait until it comes out in print. i also throughly enjoy whistledown. and her comments................ and an honorable mention to newton..............lolRead full review

Julia Quinn is a wonderful writer. I can't help but think of Jane Austen when I read her work. Her characters are lovable, lots of fabulous and funny dialogue, and enjoyable plots. This book is the second in the series and it tells the story of the eldest Bridgerton child, Anthony who decides it is time to marry and decides Edwina Sheffield will do. However, he falls in love with her older sister, Kate, instead. For a story that is a lot of fun, some sweet romance, and just good escapist fiction you really can't beat this series or this book. Enjoy!
