Audiotek AT-PS-16. Good linear power supply
Was looking for something that worked well as a linear power supply rather than a switching power supply. Switching is lighter and sometimes cheaper, but it has drawbacks including spurious RF that affects other equipment when not having a load attached. This linear performs well, is quite and works well with mobile and hand-held radios that require 12 - 14 volt and at least 10 amps. I tested it out before using, and mine at least reset at 20A draw, but was consistent and performs like a champ with an 8 - 10 amp draw. If they make a bigger power supply (I think they make a 35A), that may be my next step up. Its well constructed, solid, good heatsink in the back, comes with extra fuses and a general instruction sheet that covers many of their models. Pricepoint is good for the product ... It would be nice if they put a cigarette lighter socket on there, but with space being at a premium inside, that's not necessarily going to happen. You have three (3) options for hookup: (1) binding posts (2) banana plugs; and (3) pins or through wire using the tapped holes in the sides of the binding posts. All in all this little power supply gives you a positive experience with good performance for the price paid.

Shipping Damage
Arrived damaged with the negative post broken off. So I open the top and remove the broken part and just pulled the wires through the face. Power supply works fine. I now just twist the wires on with the wires that are hanging out of the face.
