Safe reliable way to start vintage electronics and monitor for hazards.
This instrument provides a very safe way to start up vintage electronic devices while monitoring their current draw and leakage to the case. Particularly of use for electronics with tube tubes and high internal voltages, which are fragile due to age and don't tolerate abrupt voltage surge at start up. Also helps protects you from electrical shock if you're working with a 'hot chassis'.

Great piece of equipment. You have an isolation transformer, variable voltage to bring up you test device and a controlled solder station that runs independant of everything else. The meter is easy to see , voltage goes past line voltage to 150 for more device tests. You can check voltage leaks on test device and polarity. 2 scales on meter to monitor amps. Well built product , a must have especially if its your first piece of equipment to work on tube radios and electronics .Great piece of equipment.
