    Great tool.

    Installing any type of network cabling this is an absolute must have. No second guessing if your connections are right or which line is giving you a problem. I use this for installing IP surveillance systems, making my pre wire time cut by 40%.

    Excellent deal

    Item was in almost perfect shape And works excellently. Being able to get footages on cable runs and to check jacks quickly was also nice. The Toning of wires was nice because you have all you need in this one tester. Finally the POE option was nice cause of all the new devices out now that run on Poe once again all in the one tester you can do it all.

    A bit expensive when bought new. First aid tool for 802.3 troubleshooting

    High quality equipment and very robust design. The level of accuracy on length measurements is very high. Very easy troubleshooting on Fast and Gigabit ethernet coper cabling. I haven't tried the Intellitone functions yet. Very satisfied with this product's overall performance.

    Very good scanner

    MicroScanner2 Cable tester MS2-100 cardinally changes procedure of testing of cables for a voice transfer, the data and video. At first it deduces and simultaneously the graphic scheme of connection, length of pairs, distance to a malfunction place, the identifier of a cable and the remote device displays results of four various test modes-. Moreover, its integrated ports RJ11, RJ45 and port of testing of a coaxial cable support almost all types of testing of low-voltage cables, thereby relieving you of necessity of use of adapters. Finally testing occupies less time, and results contain less errors. Thus, high-quality cable systems become very effective.

    Nice tester but Fluke left out some important things

    Appears to be working as expected. Fluke left out some features that am older Microscanner could perform. Like ports blinking and tcp/ip host information. But otherwise this device performs very well in cable mapping and Poe basic testing.
